Major Tasks include, but not limited to:
Support Sales Team by providing product, application and process support in Water Utility business area
Support Sales Team by providing E&M design and drawing for proposal/tender preparation as necessary
Assist Production to standardize package type solution and localize production of components (owner of standard package type products is Production)
Assist Sales in system solution and non-standard package type enquiry by providing technical details and drawings in conjunction with Production as necessary for preparation of proposal/tender
Provide engineering design and drafting services to Contract Management for technical submittal as required
Prepare, standardise and maintain civil requirement drawings necessary for installation of all equipment and circuit diagrams for control panels
Standardize design and localize production of components for system solution and installation accessories for products; maintain and update technical database
Support other teams in Water Utility for trainings and seminars
Provide cross discipline engineering service
Qualification and Experience
Degree holder in hydraulic, mechanical or environment engineering discipline, environment engineering background preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in water and/or wastewater treatment and transportation industry covering process and E&M design, equipment application, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and operation involving pumps, mixers, aeration, air blowers, control and instrumentation
Able to carry out detailed design of E&M system, additional background or knowledge of electrical and control system from functional specification, process flow diagram or control philosophy is an added advantage
Able to communicate with designers, contractors and end-users on engineering disciplines including hydraulic, electrical and mechanical, monitoring and control
Familiar with production/fabrication standards and procedures
Skills and Personal Attributes
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
Highly computer literate – MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, working knowledge of AutoCAD
